AQHA have introduced new Green classes in the list of approved classes for AQHA Shows. The main differences are that you will be able to show a horse in a snaflle bit 2 handed or in a curb bit one handed regardless of age.
To be eligible the horse must be in its first year of competition in
that section or not to have won more than 10 points. The purpose is to
allow horses to complete on an entry level course with horses of the
same level of experience. The main categories are Green Trail, Green
Western Riding, Green Hunter Under Saddle and Green Western Pleasure.
Green classes will not be held at the world show.
