News of an exciting new organisation has recently been formed called UKRHA -UK Ranch Horse Association and is being launched at Oakridge Quarter Horse annual show at Trent Vally Equestrian Centre in Southall
The organisation is open to anyone and all breeds of horse and is aiming to promote the qualities and characteristics of the working ranch horse.  Be a working cowboy in a close relationship with your horse doing trail work, reining, roping, showmanship and cattle driving. You can learn from experienced riders and instructors about the cowboy way. Enter high speed thrill competitions including barrel racing, flag racing, pole bending with top judges and great prizes. The first show will be in the spring so watch this space for dates etc.  Clinics and tuition will be starting soon with top trainers eager to promote this exciting sport.
